Midnigt Walk

Although Makao's parents love their daughter, they are very strict with her, especially her mother, Himeno. They forbid her to leave her room in the evening and at night, and even more so from the house, because, according to them, there are a lot of dangerous animals in the forest where the temple is located. One late evening, having quarreled with his mother, Makao runs out of the temple despite the ban and runs deep into the forest. There she meets the ghost of a girl who is surprised that Makao can see her. Since then, Makao secretly sneaks out of her room every night to go to the forest, where she encounters various ghosts each time. One night, she accidentally witnesses her parents sacrificing a human to a demon. Realizing where the ghosts come from in the forest, Makao looks through the books in the temple, where he learns that this temple belongs to a demon, and her parents made a deal with him. She wants to exorcise him, but learns that her birth is what her parents asked of the demon, and if she exorcises him, she will disappear. In the end, despite the mother's pleas, she still banishes him, and disappears along with all the ghosts in the forest.
